How do you make a great vacation even better... motorsports of course! The 'Tour of Mull Rally', also known as the 'Greatest Rally in the World' (www.2300club.org). But that's would be obvious since 'if it's not Scottish, it's crap! However, this really is an incredible tramac rally. Rally spectating in Europe is completely different that in NA. Afterall, they use real roads, like in towns and between towns... the only roads on the island. The island basically shuts down for the rally. The roads closed one hour before the start of the stage, so you just drive down and find a place to watch. No hours of trudging through the bush like here in NA. The MKII Escorts are amazingly fast and sound awesome. On the dry tramac they were equal to the 4WD cars. I recommend this rally to anyone who enjoys rally spectating. This is first time I spectated at a tarmac rally and I did notice that when it goes wrong on tarmac, it's seldom a 'small off'.
